The exhibition Malagasy People brings together fourteen artists from or residing in Madagascar around a reflection on identity through portrait : Clipse Teean, Dina Rabearivelo, Dominique Rajaonarivony & Fano Ranaivosoa, Emilie Blue, Maherisoa, MatLi, Nantenaina Fifaliana, Rijasolo, Tahina Rakotoarivony, Toni Haddad, Vanii Suki, Liladhar Sanjay, and Zouba K.
The portraits are painted, drawn, photographed or sculpted, in miniature, life sizeor enlarged formats, captured on a wide variety of media, from paper to metal, to cardboard, to fabric or wood. The exhibition builds up a living-together space, that of the exhibition area: where views, representations, and daydreams intersect.
